If you think Smoke on the Water Rocks - Find some early Deep Purple - 1968-69.. Wow!!! This is what music is about!! (Ok my opinion) But it is something unique for the time, before they went mainstream!!

CDs Shades of Deep Purple, Deep Purple 1969, Book of Taliesyn. Great stuff!!!

Good tunes for driving situations

Hwy Rush = Joe Satriani - Surfin with the Alien (You'll be doing over 100 in seconds)
Cruise = Doobies Bros. - Takin it to the Streets, Long Train Runnin
Strip = Linkin Park/JZ - Numb Encore
City = Rippingtons - Curves Ahead

Oh yeah... A good one to open up to similar to Hwy Rush - Crue - Kick Start my Heart!

I've had "KIXTART" reserved for years at the NYS DMV license plate department... still haven't released it from the current owner.

First Five Albums cds as in... Van Halen 1, Van Halen II, Women and Children first, Diver Down, Fair Warning, and 1984. Got all 5, great albums. My favorite album is 5150 though, Van Hagar era was awesome.

It's great that their back together now.

In order for these tunes to work while we're driving (If you have the stock JBL Sound System) We'll have to narrow the list to about 18 tracks.

Do that and send that list to me... I'll burn ya a CD and mail it to ya!!

Latley i have got my old SxDx collection out, and in my car right now is the new Social Distortion-Sex,Love & Rock n roll, the new Street dogs- Back to the World- Social Distortion - White light , white heat, white trash. And Social Distortion -Somewhere between heaven and hell. and Lastly Social Distortion- Live @the roxy.
If you can't tell, ima a huge SxDx Fan and they are GREAT to crank up and cruise with...can I get a HELL YEAH!!!!!!

hey how bout all gold members of the club gets to submit 3 songs, then a committee chooses 1 then we make the LVC cruisin tunes cd and sell em....all proceeds go to the club or maybe tsunami relief or sumthing , 5 or 6 bucks a piece, i'd but 1 .whatta ya think.....joey?....everyone chime in now.....and i'll submit mine first. i think we would have a great and diverse cd for crusin....heres mine

I don't think we could officially make a CD and ask for payment!! Copy Rights you know!!

But I still think that people are can share music.

for free!!

If someone wants to collect money donate money to the tsunami relief I think we would need to talk to Joey and send money to him through LvC. But this should be another thread!

Cut your mufflers off, or get something like flowmasters if you have a city ordinance against noise. You won't need tunes.

You can say, that you get a "Free" CD if you make a donation!!!!!

Either Way, I'd put this together if you'd like... I like the song submission and voting idea.
The only reason is that to burn a disk so we can play it in our cars, you can't really have more than 17/18 tunes, depending on legnth.

Just a thought......

This all still needs to go past Joey! and we need to check on anything that could cause probelms in the legal part of this idea.

There are a lot of LvC's Greatest Hits CD out there...Not sure how members got them...

but I know they are out there check out link below on this complication of tunes.
