Vibration problems

i got an 88 TC signature...
usually at 40mph in D it tends to vibrate...
if it's in OD, it does it at 50-55 mph..
i'm thinking that it's a torque converter problem/trans problem...
if anyone could help me out with some advice, i'd appreciate it..
the only thing i can think of doing is pourin it Lucas Trans Treatment.

change trans fluid, then add lubgaurd. Sounds like the OD torque converter chatter.

I have a similar vibration in my 90 TC... it starts shuddering at 30 mph and at 80 it's real bad...
