Electrical Problems

I have a 2000 LS & every now & then the advance trac light will come on, the radio dies, the headlights go out, my gauges go crazy . There is an immediate loss of power & the car just dies. I can jump it & it will start back up & drive fine for days, weeks, even months before this happens again. I've had a mechanic check the battery, alternator & starter and they are all working fine. I have noticed that when I open the trunk compartment to get to the battery there is moisture in there, I'm pretty sure this has something to do with it since the fuse box is right there. I've put moth balls in there to absorb the moisture & I've been driving around fine every since.
Please help before this happens again, I don't want to spend a million trying to fine out what this problem is.
