I am thinking of makeing a strut bar for my 00 v8 sport,can anyone give advice on do's and don'ts

Why do you need one? We don't have strut suspension. Other than the look, what could you gain from it, other than weight?

The LS already has a struct tower brace - it run from the top of each tower underneath the plactic cowel that is between the windshield and hood.

the problem - in my opinion - is that you can't see it.
