RIP David "Jibit" O'Donnell

Today is the day we lost a great friend. Say a prayer for him. He was a great friend and his memory will never be forgotten.

I'm sure he is either wrenching on a car, or behind the wheel of one in his version of heaven.

No Mike... Dave is getting Heaven ready for us..

First you need an old Motorcycle as a back yard lawn ornament! I'm expecting a lot of that in Heaven now..

Heaven will be scattered with parts of projects that are now taking a few years...

Oh and don't forget that all garages in Heaven will now have at least 3 projects... with driveways full of the next projects...

I can see it now as Peter and Paul and other saints are petitioning God to have Dave's area of Heaven cleaned up or putting limits on how many projects on resident of Heaven may have.

But when we get to Heaven we will have parts available if you need one... and Dave will be working on everyone elses projects because someone asked and Dave took time away from his to help them out...

Oh and I'm sure that Dave is trying to find a loop hole in getting strip clubs into Heaven.

I wonder if God is hiding his cats?? I hope that Dave doesn't get hired to help out with the evolution of any species because then we are screwed. After a few drinks Dave will say you think that Duck Billed Platypus is messed up....

Dave is clearing the way for us right now... looking down and Laughing ...

Dave you are missed good friend thanks for everything that you gave to us...

A year ago today we lost someone very special to all of us,

I took a few minutes this morning to put this together... things I have come to realize over the past year.

Remember not the bad or sad things that have happened to us in our lives, instead remember the good times and the joy in our lives.
Remember those you love and those who love you.
Remember to give those you care about a hug, for they may not be there next time you think about it.
Remember those you have lost like they were still here.

Do not grieve for them for they are not hurting or unhappy
Do not wish for them back because there is a reason they are gone wether we understand why or not.
Do not cry for them for they cry when the see you sad.
Do not be angry, they would want you to be happy.

Take time today to tell that special person you love them.
Take time to just relax with them.
Take time to share your thoughts and your feelings.
Take time to laugh and smile.

People enter and leave our lives everyday, yet the ones we remember forever are the ones we loose in death. David changed my live to make me a better person in the short time he was mine to have. That being said... we need to realize no one is ever ours. In a split second we can be taken away from each other. We need to remember that. With all the fighting, dislike and unhappiness in the world today, we need to live our lives to the fullest. Make everything we can of every second of every day. Live without regret, love without question and know that if we could do it all over again we wouldn't change anything.

David will be with us forever, we will always be able to talk to him and he will help guide some of us through the rest of our lives with what he has taught us. I will always love and miss him no matter what.

I looked out my office window this morning and saw the most beautiful sight, I saw the sun rays falling from behind the clouds and I knew it was him saying.... "smile, I'm ok and you will be too!"

Make sure those in your live know you love them and you will be there for them no matter what. Put the fighting aside, just because you dont see eye to eye with them or you dont agree with things they do... remember you love them... remember they may not know that. So take a minute to tell them and even if they do know tell them anyways
