The Palin Storm - Ironic

I was just a little bemused and I thought to myself.

Why is the media so pissed off with the Palin pick? Then it dawned on me.

The media selected John McCain for the Republicans because he was the most liberal of all the candidates. They built him up during the primaries so he could win the nomination. All was well with their plan. They figured McCain would nominate a fellow liberal and all would be swell. Either way the election went, they could always control McCain and move him to the center.

But, McCain goes and taps one of the most conservative of all Republicans in the Congress or State legislatures, and to top it off, she is an attractive woman!

Wow! They must have just gone bonkers. No wonder the hate is oozing thru their pores.

Sit back and enjoy tonight.

10 point bounce for McCain after tonight if Palin does well.

Rush made a good point yesterday. Everybody built up Hillary (the feminist), would be the first woman president yada yada yada...

But Obama beat her, and now Palin (wholesome family woman, Christian) is set to take her place, and Hillary (the feminist) is relegated back to the secretary's desk again.

McCain was enjoying the media spotlight up until a year or so ago, when Barry became their darling. Johnny Mac is ever the Maverick, and he'll do his own thing. When he realized the media was just using him, he evidently decided to say f*** them, he'll stick to his principles.
