ABC, NBC, CBS censorship

ABC, CBS and NBC are cowards not covering Fred Thompson's speech. What a bunch of total biased losers!

They were purposely ignoring his speech because they knew it would move people to support McCain. Simple as that.

MSNBC carried it, but Keith Olbermann and Chrissy Matthews nitpicked it afterwards.

The 3 major networks talked over it. They did things like interview Laura Bush and have their talking heads blah, blah, blah.

I was praying Laura would have the guts to say "why are you talking to me, you should be listening to Fred".

Great Speech.

Especially the part about making history. Paraphrasing: The Dems are making history: They have nominatede the most liberal, least experiencd person to ever run for the office of President.

Burn!

There are FOUR "major" networks these days, FYI. Did FOX ignore him too? I don't know; I'm asking.

Since I've pretty much ignored both conventions, I'm having a hard time figuring out what you're referring to. The major networks' schedules all show their normal primtetime fare, not convention coverage. So it looks to me like they were "not covering" ANYBODY's speeches. What am I missing here?

What little I did see of the Dem convention, I do recall the talking heads blathering on while a speaker was at the podium in the background. Must be a right-wing conspiracy. Or maybe it's just that they only care about the major players. Why would anyone watch the networks for convention coverage anyway?

While Fred was speaking, Fox aired the entire speech. When you flip to CNN or NBC, they had pundits talking.

And by the way, CNN now has a new little blurb on bottom right corner: NO BIAS NO BULL.

But on the ticker, in large cap letters, it said "PALIN'S DAUGHTER PREGNANT."

What a load of horse shizzle.

Do you mean the FOX network that brings us the Simpsons or FOX News? Huge difference if you're gonna accuse ABC/NBC/CBS of censorship. Otherwise you're comparing apples (entertainment networks) with oranges (news networks).

And like I said, even CNN and MSNBC did the same during some of the Dem speeches the few times I watched.

So I just watched Mitt Romney's speech. I decided to flip between the three news networks. Both CNN and MSNBC had full, uninterrupted coverage. FOX News? Hannity and Colmes interviewing Karl Rove and later some other dude. FOX went to commercials twice, while CNN and MSNBC waited until Romney was finished.

I was gonna finish this up with a childish, but satisfying "So blow me", but I've changed my mind.
