Turn signal clicks

Ok ... small point I guess but the turn signal clicks on my 2002 Conti are REALLY LOUD! Is there anyway to reduce the volume? My mechanic told me they come from the sealed lighting module and he couldn't do anything about it. Man it bugs me! Other than that ... I LOVE this car.
