How do you remove the rear window reg. for the window... I have the door all apart and cant get it off the window... didn't try very hard... just messed with it for about 5 minutes..

At the bottom of the window there is a hole in the glass. There is a two-piece plastic cylinder that goes through the hole. The regulator grasps onto that.
To remove the old regulator you can pop out the plastic cylinder. Push the inner segment out first then the outer segment should come out rather easily. Then the regulator will slide off.

it was easier for my because the whole plastic clip broke off the metal part of the regulator, that thing was really fatigued. So I had easy access to poke it out. I used a small screwdriver. Im sure there are better choices though I went straight for the middle of the piece and kinda tore it up. Try pushing on the edges of each piece.
Putting it back together was harder thanks to the working regulator in my way with all the wires and such. I tried putting the cylinder back in from the rear of the unit and wasn't able to push the inner piece all the way in.

I used a small screw driver head to push mine out. Pay attention to the way the pin is loaded in the slot. It goes in a certain way, it has a odd shape. Anyway just do it and hook the window in the slot and push the pin back in. nothing to it.
