The ppl that have done the coil spring conversion have had to modify the suspension controller to get rid of the message. They would know what to do to get rid of the message.

One thing to consider also if you are going to do ANY other engine/drivetrain modifications you will need to reburn a custom chip with every upgrade. So, if you plan on any other modifications you should keep them in mind, and have them on hand when you get the chip burnt, or you will be reburning the chip with every upgrade. Also, if you plan on putting in a shift kit (I would recommend the Baumann Engineering kit), you need to make sure that the place you are planning on getting the chip at knows that you have a shift kit/which one and how you have it set. I recommend Baumann because there is not many companies out there that knows as much as they do about the tranny that is in our cars, and their technical help/customer service is second to none.....next to Max that is..... Max was very helpful, I received the new heater control panel today, I can hardly wait to have it installed, the light shining through the buttons at night was driving me crazy. As far as any other modifications I was planning on doing, my mechanic talked me out of posi-traction, however , I am replacing the air suspension, and I'll get a performance chip my mechanic did suggest something about the air intake. Now, not including the performance chip, shoul I have everything installed before I put the chip in ? Just something to keep in mind when you decide on a performance chip. |
