I bought a 2000 LS a few days ago and am starting to find some problems. While replacing some blown fuses in the passenger side kick panel fuse compartment I noticed a space labeled Relay 1 that is empty. It looks like it takes a bigger three prong plug. The owner's manual lists, in detail, information for every fuse location but this one. It is in the fuse box diagram in the manual, but no other information is given.
Is this location supposed to be blank? If not, what is its purpose and what part plugs in there? Thanks in advance for any info you may offer!

It's probably supposed to be that way. Many cars have slots in the fuse box that are not used. Usually because there was optional equipment that was not installed on the car when it was made.
