Anyone run both at the same time. Its possible but I dont know if I have seen anyone here do it. Im considering it just to be able to flick them on (using a separate switch not the headlight switch) to give additional lighting at night if needed.
Ran some fogs on a buddies ranger off a switch using a relay and all and worked great.
Any comments/ideas/pictures/ect.

I know that the 04 and 06's (at least) run both the high beams and low beams at the same time (stock from the factory). However, only the low beams are HID.

You only want HIDs on your low beams because they have to "warm up" before you get much light, and turning them off and on isn't exactly good for them. As noted, 2nd Gen LSes keep the low beams on with the high beams (probably for that very reason), but to do it on a 1st Gen LS, you'll need to use relays. Someone actually drew up a schematic for this a year or two back, so if you search, you might be able to find it.
