well, kind of, cheated a little, martin brought the car down this morning and we did the trans in it, changed the 1-2 accum and springs, easy done this many times, pulled the valve body out and changed the 2-3 accum, put the valve body on the bench and took off the seperator plate and installed the new one and new gaskets, i didnt drill anything myself, martin bought one already done. still, i have a tremendous fear of going inside a transmission. but over all, we both got some fluid all over us in our mouths, martin's neck is broken from holding it off the floor cuz i only have one creeper lol. the car drives great, really nice i'm impressed. now if he makes it up to wisconsin this weekend and back with no issues then we did ok lol. so i'm sure he is on the road right about now is when he wanted to leave, the dummy is trying to drive on only 3 hours of sleep last night though and its about a 21 hour trip lol. hmmmmmm the tranny will hold up but martin is gonna be in a ditch somewhere in northern georgia lol.

jamie i drove 2.5 hours at work and then drove 13.5 hours to get here to Boscobel and all that on just 4 hours of sleep, Martin will do just fine.

once the sun comes up he should be fine, just when its pitch black and all you can see is the lines, thats when i get sleepy. we will be looking for him tonight

(we both got some fluid all over us in our mouths) LMFAO I knew it!!!!! Hmmm? J(amie)-Mod?

Did the shudder go away after the flush?

Posted by: jamie97lsc

lol j-amie mod i like that, jerry mod with my twist, fluid in the face. yes it did go away, i took it for a ride with martin riding shotgun after we were done and went a few miles and never felt it ever, then he shut the traction control off pulling back onto us 19 and i ripped on it and it shifted agressive into 2nd but not to the point where i felt i would lose it, and the 2 to 3 shift was really nice. but i didnt hear from him since so i assume everything is good and he's quite aways from florida now! you guys should see him tonight.

Martin hasn't showed yet but is getting near.

Yup. Got here no problem! The lack of sleep and busy schedule held me up abit, but got into Bosco around 1 am, met some of the guys and went to bed.

JMOD is pretty good - its at the 300 - 450 setting - its a little hard on the 1-2 shift but overall, very good.

Man, that trip was a long haul! Gotta do it all over again in a couple of days! Argh...

lol good glad to hear you guys made it a-ok not bad for an amature if i say so myself
( pats self on shoulder )
