Fuel pump and FPR

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I'm looking to upgrade my fuel pump and my Fuel pressure regulator.
what are you guys using or what would you recomend. I dont want to brake the bank but I want something that flows better than stock so I can get it on a dyno and get a proper tune done

Get a Walbro 255 high pressure high volume, adj. fpr not really needed unless your bracket racing or boosted/nos.

I'm running nitrous. so I have been told that the regulator s a must to get the best tune.
I have herd people talking about using a focus fuel pump as a money friendly upgrade. (walbro its pricey is it not?) I'm guessing that they mean focus as the car not a brand name. any herd of this of know what year or model they are refering too?
thanks

I dont think at $100 a Walbro 255 is all that expensive. I think most use the focus pump in a Gen II because its easier to put in.

where can I get one for a hundred bucks. cuz I'd be all over that.

Summit, look up the 255 eldbrock pump, it is made by walboro, and was like $98 last time I looked.

Well here is one for a little more than $100, but its a kit

Does the Summit one include the stuff from the SCP kit?

thanks for the input guys I was hoping to order from a local jobber and avoid the hassle of shipping but it seems that it would be much cheaper to order online.
thanks again

Yes it does. I called Edlebrock and verified it, plus you can almost always reuse your clamps and retainers anyway.

$40.00 for 2 hose clamps and plastic retainers, LOL.

Well thats good to know. Thanks for your research.

Sure thing, glad I could help.

You could have also checked out Jdsperformance.com, they have pretty good prices on these items as well.

Ya, I wont recommend the SuperCoupe one. It was just a price comparison. I only used the small section of fuel line it came with - that was it. AND he sent the wrong filter......
