a couple of weeks ago I changed uca's, lca's, strut tower bushings, and sway bar stablizers. Tie rod ends have no play in them so I left them. Backing out of the driveway to go get alignment, I hear and feel a pop when I cut the wheel to back out. Seems like it came from driver side front. I get the car aligned, but in two weeks, backing out of the driveway again. I hear a pop and the car is back out of alignment. With the steering wheel straight, the passenger side wheel appears to be were it should, but the driverside wheel is toe in. Could it be the teeth in my rack somehow?

Check your cast and camber adjustment bolts. If the adjuster is not centered in the pilot hole it will allow it to shift position especially when the wheel is turned all the way one direction and loaded.

+ 1 this happend in my 97 lsc, backed out of the driveway onenight and POP then the tires were all screwed up, i pulled back in and jacked it up and found the driverside camber bolt at the end of the control arm would spin just by me grabbing it with my hand, i put it where i thought was the best and then drove right to the alignment shop, no problem after that.
