engine problem!!!

2002 v6 lincoln ls: Was driving down the road one day and i had one of those sunday drivers in front of me so i was pulsing the gas peddle making the engine rev while behind them then i had a chance to over take the ass hole which i did and as i was about to make a right turn a sudden shake and a scraping or a heavy knocking is coming from the engine all of a sudden but there was no check engine light or any such thing. also when the car is started white smoke is coming from exhuast and smoke is coming from the oil dipsick. I was wondering if any body had experienced this with their car can enlighten me with the damage to my car and my pocket?

I would also say that with the knocking and such you likely actually have engine damage. Maybe collapsed rings, bent rod, who knows until it's unzipped. I would think replacing the head gasket.

check for coolant in the oil or oil in coolant... pull some plugs and look for damage... a head gasket blowing can have a knocking sound... i cant explain why it makes a knocking sound but i know it does from personal experience...

Time for v8 swap... maybe 4.6l dohc LOL or even a 5.4L (light bulb just lite over lincoln00's head!)

Trust me if the engine swap was possible on this car I would've done it by now

I think you killed it.
Pull the plugs out and see what you get. At least one of them wont be pretty.
Check your oil, if it looks like chocolate milk then there is water/coolant mixed in with it.

well i have to get a rebuilt engine what would you guys recommend to do to the rebuilt engine before putting it in so far i got 6 plugs, valve cover gaskets, and a thermostat what should i do or get to ensure longevity of this engine !!!

Don't run the piss out of it.

If the engine is rebuilt, the valve cover gaskets will have already been replaced, so there's really no need to do them again.

well thanx for the feed back on how i should drive because there is a difference between knowng how to drive and having to slow down for

s like Pektel and Naterw21 who do 20 under the speed limit. If there is any body in lvc world that has useful info on what precaution steps i should take 2 ensure longeviety of this engine and it is not a rebuilt engine it is a from scrap ls !!!
