(Skip to 2nd paragraph for the real subject of this thread)

OK...so I get up this morning and get dressed for work, put on my shirt and the damn cleaners lost a button....the top button so I cant wear a tie..so...I go back into the shirts that I just got from the cleaners and the one that I pull out doesn't belong to me (they lost a shirt)...ok...the next shirt is blue, I put it on..finally..I look straight now...turn around and it's a HUGE white spot in the back....The next shirt was cool..im good now... I know you're thinking I need a new cleaners...but I wk for Congress..why not take my clothes to the same cleaners as the people that make the decisions..lol..seriously though it's just convenient....NOT ANYMORE..

Get out to my car....a voice tells me "do not use the remote to let down your windows" which is what I always do...ignoring the voice I let down the windows because I like to hear chicks say "you leave your windows down all night".... I close the door and hear an odd rattle...hmm..not sure what it was I open and close the door again ahd I hear the same noise....AND I FIND OUT THAT MY DAMN WINDOW TILL NOT GO BACK UP!!!

I almost get hit driving into work (which is normal in DC)....I left my lunch on the counter

Seriously though..has anyone had this problem? The window is stuck down and I hear a slight grinding noise when I attempt to let it up..a friend of mind had this problem w/ an Acura RL...cost $500 to get the accentuator replaced and installed...if I could just let the window up I'd be good for a few days...it's the 4th..cant be w/o my LincolnLexuS

If you still can hear the motor, it may be your regulator.

Sounds like it is time for a new window regulator. These things break all the time in the LS. I had my rear ones break a month apart from each other and I never use them.

any suggestions as to how I can get it back up? jsut until I get it fixed...

Hi Moe

If that is a 2000-2002 the the regulator will set you back 158.03 retail or $113.78 LVC cost......need the year etc.

Max

Pull the window up. Does it come up and stay?

I would then take it apart and check to see if the clips came loose or broke off first.
You might be able to rig it.

That's exactly what I did when the same thing happened to my drivers side.
