i hope this uploads,first try

Here's a spy photo of the proposed Lincoln Mark IX which originally appeared in the March-April 1998 Continental Connector. It predicted the retro-car craze (Volkswagen's New Beetle, the new Ford Thunderbird, the BMW Austin Mini and the PT Cruiser). Parked in the background is a 1956 Continental Mark II. The Mark IX is a cabriolet with the look of the original 1940 Lincoln Continental - the first Mark. This prototype of the Mark IX is based on the discontinued Mark VIII platform. Production models may be based on the Lincoln LS platform. To see more detailed photo (larger, more shades of greyscale, 89K filesize),

Thanks for thinking about us Bro.
I'd bash you too but it was a human error. Check out places like The Philadelphia International Auto Show. Here are some of the 178 shots the I took in 2004. I would have LOVED the NAVICROSS ...

I wasn't posting these with the notion that i scooped them first,i was just posting as a topic, the phrase" spy photos" in my thread was just what i cut and pasted from the site i got the ugly pic from,
i personally saw the concept car at the NY autoshow in april 2001?or was it 2002 one or the other,

"what do you all think of these pics,i saw this in NY a few years back at car show, wasnt to thrilled with it then, but now i am starting to like it"

if you would read my above replies.i did not claim this to be "spy" photos,i simply cut and pasted the article from the website that i found the hideous picture that hotwheelz hilariously said would make a good start for a new edsel ,,(still laughing at that one....)

The article called it a spy photo to be funny.
check out the link i included above.

I put this on here because it was funny, and some of you think i was serious i guess.anywho

enjoy

Probably had no interior at the time

The silver Mercury parked next to the gorgeous woman with a huge set of lungs ... had no engine and only steel rods for shocks.
