Anyway to disable the alarm?

I have an '01 LS, and the alarm on this thing has got to be one of the most annoying things I've ever encountered. It will randomly honk the horn 10 short times for no reason whatsoever a few times a week, and sometimes when I try to unlock the door with the keypad, it flips out and acts like someone it trying to break in. Is there anyway to turn this thing off, because there's absolutely no good use for it.

not that i know of, check with the dealership you see if they can disable it while connected to their computer

An idea might be to have your battery checked as well as it might not be fully charging and or bad or possibly a lose battery connection. I know it sounds weird however after installing after market car stereo for years these were sometimes symptoms of a battery dieing after we would put an alarm on a vehicle. The alarm would randomly go off and act spastic at times. Its really a shot in the dark as I have not seen this happen on an OEM alarm.

i would also check out all of the door triggers and trunk trigger to make sure that 1 of them is not going bad. Does your massege center ever say that you have a door or trunk open any time you are driving around?
