Guys I need help

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Ok I took this part of the fuel rail and that "screw" dropped. I went to pepboys and autoavance but they don't have that part. I went to the Lincoln dealership but they say you need to buy the whole fuel rail which is $300

So do you guys know where I can get this from?

This is the part I need.

The schrader valve came out? That part on the rail you have circled looks like its for the pressure gauge, not part of the rail.

that gauge with the gold color screw is from my 93 which I just put on. I was actually trying to see my pressure, since the 93 had a gauge I thought why not switch it and see whats the fuel pressure on my 97. While I was taking the screw off my 97, it fell in the small space in the engine. So its called the schrader valve? and where can I get this part from?

Thanks

Scrapyard.

Jamie, got the hookup?

Did you try a magnetic probe to get the screw out, and if a probe is to big try a string tied to a strong thin magnet and just maybe you'll get it out.

Try to fish it out, then do what most of us do- call Jamie.

I can barely see it, I don't even know how it got there...lol. magnet isn't going to help, even if I do attach it, I would have no idea how to get it out. I think I am gonna go to a junk yard tom. There has to be mark VIII or at least a continental around here. I usually find Conti's around here.

Posted by: mark0101

this how it looks like. I am gonna call the Junk yard and see if they will give it to me.

Posted by: unity

Almost any ford fuel rail will have that part on it.

Posted by: Roadboss

Check your local chain as all you need is a connection for you Fuel pressure gage you were putting on. Magnet probably won't work because its brass.

NOS makes one. I bought one to run my electric fuel pressure gauge in my 87. I believe I got it from Summit.

Well I got the part from the junk yard, just in case I got two...lol
One from the Mark VIII and one from an LS

You're starting to dismantle all the good work I did to that engine

I had to search for this. I was helped by 1wykdmk8 (God Rest His Soul).

Well here are some pics of the cars. Felt sorry for them being there. The Mark only had 135,000 miles, don't know what happened to it. It was completly stripped though.
Well both the Marks are resting for now. I got that gauge off for right now since I wanted to put the cover on but later found out that the Mark in the Junk yard didn't have any. BTW GMAN how did you plug the holes in the air intake. I have this duct tape on and would really like to cover them. Also did you also see that the 93 mark beat a caddy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjKCJXcgf5A Its really good up top

lol I think we are the only car owners that would take pics our cars in a junk yard (done it before too). I know, it kills me to go and see them all gutted and flayed open...I have to touch each one and tell it sorry...(you know Im not kidding if I admit something like that! lol). Glad you got it fixed Hottie!

Smooches!
