thats funny i was thinking of doing the opposite to my tails. i was gonna paint the contours to match the car and leave the rest red like the benz lights

won't they have to be painted with actual paint? i don't think they make the tint in that color do they? if so then the lights will have a hard time shining through. just my .02

There was a guy I used to see drive around in an Alero a few years back that used perforated vinyl on the tail lights that was color match to the car. Might be worth looking into since paint might chip or whatnot. The tail lights/brake lights were still visible when they were on too.

I would think that the blacked out tinted tails would have a difficult time with the light as well. There was one member that did the exact same idea, but with dark dark tint instead of paint. I wish I could remember who that was...

Pektel, Johns tinted tails does that kind of stuff ( not just tinting! ). Maybe a e-mail would shed some more info on that for yah.

Yes I was referring to the actual paint which doesn't shine through. I figured I'd check first on legality, and if those 3 lines left untouched would be a sufficient amount of light. This is a picture of a set of tails that jons did. I don't know if it comes in different amounts of tint, but this one looked kinda bad to me:

hey slabls you should put those on a car like a 1956 jag or something. That would look awesome. Of course you'd need a 1956 jag. I have never seen spoked wheels on an LS before, but I don't think they will look good, IMO.

yeah i've seen some spoked rims that look similar on those old school jags....and petkel you are 1 of my favs n lvc, where did yu get your clear turn signal lenses?..i've been searching and came up empty, lsk have the ones i hate..

Hey pektel, its nice to see you willing to try something different. I have a idea and I think yo have it planed in the future anyway but if you go with either of those taillight projects you really should do the surround as well. Something,... and I mean no offense,... looks way to 80's about those lights.

I actually have a spare surround on the way. It's already painted, just not my color. So I just have to rough that up and spray it. I have the paint all ready to go too. Yeah I hear ya on the lights. I may get some of that perforated vinyl wrap material in a close color to my paint, just to try it out. jonstintedtails can do it, but all in all it would be around 200, and I can't be without tail lights (this is my only car right now)

I have a request...thats if you can do it!

I have a 2005 Black Lincoln Ls that I want to put on some chrome rims, lower it, and put on the Wing West full Body Kit including the Wing West rear wing spoiler. I also want to put on some tinted/smoked head lights and tail lights.
Can you put all that to my pictures so I can visualize how it would look? Do a pic with the tinted headlights and tail lights and one without them.

Here are some pics of the my LIncoln LS! Can you do pics of side, front, end views?

Hey man, can you photoshop something for me that's not an LS? I just picked up a pocket pistol back up gun and I'm thinking about having a special coating done on the slide and all the internals; gives it a silver/dull nickel color. I'll provide the picture of the pistol and the color to change the slide to.

I personally like the newer model mustangs wing. I think they call it something stupid like a duck tail spoiler or something but I think something along the lines of a deck spoiler like that ( some what similar to the WW deck spoiler ) would look best on the LS

the LS has so much potential. Lincoln really needs to bring them back, the problem is most of the people that currently own them and would buy new ones can't afford what they would cost new.

yeah those are actually JJ's wheels. it's outstanding that people can not tell the difference sometimes with his photoshop skills. i have to look at little minor stuff myself to know what he actually has on his car and what he has PS on to it.

hey guys well heres the deal saturday is my 19th bday and as a gift from one of my cuzzins he said i could have his rims so i was planning on taking his rims and get them professionally painted to match the color of my car i would like to see how they would look on my car here are 3 pictures of the rims i tryed to get the best one possible thanks in advance

and also on the rims i was planning on leaving the chrome part chrome and just make all the black the same color as the car if this could be done then thank you very much here is my car and the rims

And these are sum projectors that a local shop/warehouse sells by my pad! (They are legit! My dad had the Headlights and the foglights on his F150! and I was thinkin of using them in my headlights!

Maybe!!!! A lot of work, but I think it would look sweet! and it already has angel eyes!

Ok Kleen you did one hell of a job on that first pic. That looks very real!

But I honestly have to say those Ferrari look the best( IMO ) and would look way better in person.

I know of a person on another forum that used a similar set of sealed beam lights in his Jag. Actually lots of people use lights like that to retrofit projectors into classics and antiques.

I say do it! The one problem is that the reflectors on the LS are not round ( at least the 1st gen ) and neither are the holes for them in the bezel.

Kleen always does good work and the picture of the first set of rims (chrome ones) look like they are already on that LS. It's amazing how he can blend make it look so real. IMO go with the first set of rims if those are the two that you have narrowed down too because I don't think the LS looks that good with a Ferrari style or touring style rim. They look good on Ferrari's and race cars but not so much on Luxury Sedans. Good luck

20's are also the way to go because with the right offset you can lower it also and not have any problems. A lowered LS on 20's is so hot. I am sure if you look around they have pictures of some LS's that are lowered with 20's.

Those wheels are really nice but 20's?

You do know that the Ferrari wheels are a perfect fit, 19", and staggered fitment of 10" rear and 8.5" front? Just thought I would give you a FYI on that.

Nothing beats that look. There is nothing about those wheels that's to race like either.

If you get 20's I guarantee you will regret it in the end,... just a friendly heads up.

First off, thank 2 u guys 4 the props....I juss did a real quick job on them. Really! I did!!! There isnt even brakes! hahaha.....Usually i try to put sum brakes! lol. Juss couldnt find them in my computer, and i was like...eh, F it! haha!

And yeah, I have 20"z! and i love them! I haven't dropped it yet, but i will soon! A shop said he can get me the springs real cheap, hook up the labor, and roll my fenders! he is gonna give me a quote on sprints and eibachs. BUT.... If 19" tires werent soooooo EXPENSIVE, I think i would rock 19"z!!! but oh well......atleast i can say I am rollin on DUBz!!!! hahahaha!
oh....and i my bro got me a koo shirt too....it has a set of 5 spoke rims on it, and on the bottom it says..."Are you over 18?"!!!! hahaha. Luv it!

I think if he gets 20's regardless of how much I hate them when he lowers the car its going to kill that kit. Also they wont look like that at all. The offset needed is going to drive that center line out and reduce the lip. Then he will need the rubber band tires which will make for a solid ride and I don't mean a solid ride as in a good ride. I mean it will feel every bump on the road. Some people deal with it but after being lowered with that kit its going to be a different story.

I see lots of Luxury cars these days with mesh wheels and they don't look to "race carish" at all.

Really both sets would look really really good but with the options available for the first set I just want to warn him that the second will just bring a way better fitment.

OK! I resurrected my LS-R rendering I did waaaay back in this thread, and mixed it with a Lil Car and Driver!!! hahaha (And i must say, The LS is in good company, and looks like it might just fiti in! lol) Hope ya like:

My pops F150 puts out kinda a long flat beam, and at different angels it looks just like a regular color light, then hyper/white, then a blue-ish/Purple-ish kinds of colors! Know wat I am saying?!?!? Once again I don't like the look of that car either. You have you opinion and I have mine but like I said I don't think touring style rims look good on Luxury Sedans. I have had my 20's on my car for a little over 2 years and I haven't had any problems with mine and I have a system in the trunk. Sucks you had problems but not everybody runs into those problem. When picking out rims for any car you should make such that the rims are meant for that car (like have the proper offset without any rubbing issues). IMO the chrome 20's look better on that LS.

But yea.....Everyone does have they're own style! But I do think the LS isn't a FULL Luxury car.....I think it does have a sporty-ness feel to it! Juss depends which way ya wanna go wit it! U can go BALLER, or u can go for that sportier feel. Like I said....It has the Bimmer/Benz feel to it! Do wat ever looks good 4 YOU! Plus in different pparts of the country, people like more than one style over the other! so yea.....juss smash it already!

Always a fan!

Its hard to pull off with the LS I think. I like that, black would be a good color car to pull it off with as far as the LS. Usually I like Silver & White cars to blend with Gold or Bronze wheels but a Silver LS wouldn't cut it I would imagine. Maybe a White one with the right set.

Thats does look good. I like the center caps.

can you do that again but in silver or gray color? I love it. Defenetely I am making that front end kit + the side exhaust side skirt and the rear one not made by you yet will be a "Megane Trophy" rear apron.
