i wanted to bring up this topic to get opinions.

A transmission shop that my dad knows the owner told my dad that instead of using mercon v ,a lot of rebuild shops now use merc iii and add one bottle of LUBEGARD http://lubegard.com/
friction modifier, apparently its made for converting merc iii to merc v,also made for just adding to tranny's to stop shudder.

This guys swears by this stuff.

Any experience with it here?

mike

there are cem.s that will convert, and it works just fine. Id say 99% of all shopes do it. 1/2 the stock is easer to store.
