Cobra R shocks

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Just installed my 00 cobra R bilstein shocks that max sold me last week....what a difference! I installed monroes about a month ago and hated them every second of driving...way too soft. These new ones are just perfect. Max sold them to me for only 100 bucks and said he had 3 sets left...if anyones looking for an upgrade id recommend! Finally the ride feels sporty on this car!

What was your approach to the mounts? Did you just torch the rubber out of the old mounts and use the new rubber that came with the Cobra shocks? Use an aftermarket poly kit? Something else?

I had already put in monroes with the adapter from the kits that are all over ebay so i didnt have to do any torching... i'm pretty sure you can just buy these mounts or the torching method seems to work for people

Cool. I already have my setup done, I was primarily asking for the benefit of future folks who may read this thread. And for myself to know if there was anything different about the stud on the Cobra R shocks that might necessitate some fabbing or anything.

Sounds like a direct bolt in install, which is awesome news.
