steering resistance.

Im wondering if my lower ball joints or tie rods are causing this. Thats what Im assuming as they havent been replaced in the lifetime of the car with 98k. I've driven a good share of marks and they have all been substaincially easier to turn the wheel than mine.

Ball joints are the usual cause. But I will mention this because it happened to me. Where the steering shaft meets the rack there is a boot seal. After trying to locate a really bad squeak I found that the lubricate had dried up. It was acting like a door stop and creating a lot of resistance. My ball joints where relatively new.

If your looking into ball joints, got for a TRW lower control arm. Ball joint included and for a very decent price. Best to replace in pairs!
