So what are you saying here?

Notice there is no looting in Cedar Rapids? Hummm

Did Bush forget to order looting? Oh, I know, Bush forgot to because he is over in Europe having dinner with the Queen. I'm sure he'll order it is soon as he gets back.

I knew Bush was going to blow the dike up there so he could raise the price of ethanol even more, which in turns let's his buddies in the oil industry get even more richerer.

I'm just trying to get ahead of all the lockstepping Dems apologists for Katrina.

Bush is out of the country just in time to avoid having to visit the flooded areas. Too convenient.

I'm sure demographics come into play here greatly. New Orleans was considered a complete disaster area, but look at it, it's right off the coast and half the city was built on wetlands. The water in Cedar Rapids will come down, it's probably just going to take a little while. I'm sure the people of Cedar Rapids are too busy trying to protect their property from flood waters, instead of being out looting.

People who have worked hard for what they have and have nice things will work hard to protect it. But if you already have nothing, than why not go out and get yourself something nice.

I'm sure there will be some thefts but nothing like what was seen in New Orleans. Which honestly will be surprising, especially with the economy the way it is.

I'm sure you won't see any looting in IA unless it's people from out of the area.

Unfortunately after Katrina they brought all the "displaced" to Texas, now if they would only go home almost 3 years later!

Well that comment certainly deserves some flaming.

Btw, I moved some molding business to Iowa recently and now I've got goods I can't ship, so I am feeling their pain.
