I bought some plastic polish/cleaner/scratch remover from Novus for cleaning headlight lenses. It's a 3-step kit and works wonders (no I don't work for Novus ). Here's a link:

I bought a headlight restorer kit from Parts Source (Canadian Tire) and you actually wet sand and polish the plastic...I did the headlights and fogs on my 01 and it came out all right.....Still need to borrow my bro's polisher to finish though....

You can use any plastic safe polish. Obviously some work better than others. Stuff like Poorboy's is virtually universal when it comes to the surface applications.

It just depends on the condition of the lenses, too. Some will actually require wet-sanding with a very fine-grit sandpaper (which is what step 1 of the Novus cleaner is equiv. to).
