Belden spark plug wires OK?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Does anyone know if Belden wires from Napa are any good for a 94 Mark v111? I don't want to spend a bunch of money, but I do want to make sure they fit and work correctly.

My opnion is they are junk. You can get motorcraft at Advance or you can call Max at Five Star and get Ford Racing wires. These are far better. Go for Ford Racing.

Thanks Boss for the referral!!

Rus those O/E 8mm wires are F7PZ-12259-FA list at 208.19 and LVC is $100.14 the ford racing 9mm are M-12259-C464 (blue or R464 red) list at $119.95 and LVC is 96.00 plus frt. (ooops plus tax for you in az city)

from my experience the ford racing wires actually fit better (closer to proper length) than the motorcraft wires.

motorcraft tend to run too long on every car. belden are even worse.

from what ive seen delco are actually the best fitting aftermarket (parts store) wires out there.

+1 for my 9mm ford racing wires. I just have to clean the gummy coolant off em from when I blew my waterpump hehe. I would've came to you for my waterpump max but well, you cant ship AZ to RI in 3 hrs lol

So Max is the man obviously... the good news is he is about 40 minutes drive from where I am. What's Max's phone number? I will be a customer soon...
Just sold my 93 SC with 168,000 and picked up a 94 Mark viii with 58,000 miles. After I swap out the tranny, brake booster and due a quick tune up, I hope it will run like new. I loved that Thunderbird SC, but I really like the look and feel of the Lincoln!

Thanks all.

Your the lucky one.. you get to actually MEET Max!
I have spoken to him on the phone at great lengths many times.. I can only imagine how much of his time I could waste at a "face to face" meeting.
HAHA

Max... I am coming to see you.

Gotta be careful though, I do not want this car to be my next black hole... Just want to get her runnin' right. I can afford the gas... but not much else these days! I have to say that as a long time SCCOA member, I have found a lot more useful info here on LVC. NICE...

Ok now I know what you are all gonna say "bankers hours".... I handle more calls and emails before 8am than the rest of the day!!
When you come in just ask for me!!
