You don't have to gut your mark to make it fast. there are many companys out there that make DOHC Crate engines that will put out 1200HP, at the crank that will fit in the car with the stock mounts. now estamate a 10% power loss betwen crank and street. that would be 1080RWHP, even at 4000LBS wou can still move fast.
