wow, what a great answer!!! anyways on a serious note, i was hoping for a educated guess, i have a appointment with ford to find out whats up. i was told it could be throttle stepper motor, power train control module or related wiring from my shop i use to service the vehicle. they told me it doesnt effect the car at all, but it drives me nuts and i want my baby perfect!

I know how you feel. Mine will be perfect soon enough. I only wish I would have gotten a newer one with very low miles. The amount of money I put into this car I could have

well it sounds like the throttle stepper motor, because now only when i first start the car the idle is not steady until its finished with the system check, then she purrs as usual....what a headache looks like i get to throw more money at her, but its worth it i love this car. besides this problem it is so perfect. she only has 105k on her should be good for another 100k i would hope.

well i took my baby into ford, they say my series throttle body actuator needs to be replaced. nice little 550 dollar bill, but i get her back tomorrow. wow i have no idea what that thing is...
