Got a P0117 I have no idea what this means, but I have it any ideas why this codes popped up?

My manual says
Trouble Code Conditions:
Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the ECT sensor signal was less than the self-test minimum of 0.20v (Scan Tool reads over 250<deg>F). This is a thermistor-type sensor with a variable resistance that changes when exposed to different temperatures

Possible Causes:

* ECT sensor signal circuit is grounded in the wiring harness
* ECT sensor is damaged or the PCM has failed

You have a stuck or collapsed lifter sound there.

Thanks bro I'm guessing since I had a misfire on 3 and the noise was very quite then that it wasn't that bad because the cylinder wasn't firing as much and now that its working perfectly the noise got worse...what do you think?
