Sputtering & Skipping

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hey guys, for the past few days my car has been skipping like its running out of gas. At idle and WOT its perfect, but once you start on the gas it starts to skip and sputter all the way until WOT. First I thought it was bad gas, but its not since I have filled up twice and no change. New plugs, MSD wires, air and fuel filters, pcv, new coils, and both o2s. No CEL. It does it cold or hot. I checked the fuel pressure and its o.k. Any ideas? Bad coils, fuel pump, plugs fouled? Thanks everybody!

checked compression? injectors?

I have been battling the same problems, If you changed out all the things you mentioned, I would say you have some pluged injectors

I checked the plugs today and the plugs on the drivers side are covered with oil. Would that give the problems that Im having? Its more like backfiring than skipping. How hard is it to change the valve cover gasket and o-rings on the drivers side? What all is involved?

I had one plug that way one time, I was able to tighten down my cover, I got about a quarter turn, and that stoped my oil leak, Maybe yours has worked loose?
