Camber out of spec.

Swapped out the '92 factory struts w/ new KYB GR2s. Took the car into the shop for an alignment. Prior to the R&R, the right side wheel had a bit of negative camber. After the alignment the shop said the car is maxed out of adjustment.

Front:Right

Camber: Before -2.0 Actual -1.8 specified range -0.8 to 8.0
Toe: Before 0.29 Actual 0.11 specified range 0.00 to 0.25
Cross Camber: Before 1.6 Actual 1.4 specified range -0.9 to 0.9
Total Toe: Before 0.16 Actual 0.21 specified range 0.00 to 0.50

So... what can I do outside of camber plates to make an improvement, bringing the alignment back to zero?

Is there a possibility that the ball joints/related parts are gone and replacing them will get me back in Spec? I dropped the car off at the shop and did not talk with the mechanic as he was working on it, to get an idea of what is going on with the underpinnings.

Worn front end components could make a difference. Was the car ever in an accident? The frame could be tweaked. Unless it is worn parts causing this there is no much you can do besides c/c plates. Even with them depending on the how much room there is for adjustment in the hole in the strut tower you might not get it where you want it. You could cut away some of the should tower to have clearance for more adjustment.

I forget what specs I wanted(different they factory) but I do remember the shop could not bring one side to where I wanted it. This was a few years back when I first installed MM c/c plates.

The left front has been hit. I do not know if both front air bags as the same type. (LSC,BB) I had to adjust the left height sensor down one notch from center, to get the front end level. 150K miles on the machine '92 LSC SE, perhaps a rebuild is in order some time soon. The front end is nice and tight. Thanks for the insite...

Having LSC or BB bags should affect ride height. The car will fill the bag with enough air to make it level. Sounds like your frame is tweaked
