Once I have the headlights apart how do I get the silver reflector piece detached from the back of the headlight without breaking anything?

Posted by: union807trucker

do it nice and slowly thats how i did mine be very very careful

Posted by: JWerner2

They should have small screws.

Why are you taking them out?

Posted by: TDUB

Well I have the angel eyes installed on my current headlights but the clip broke on the back of the headlight so instead of swapping out the angel eyes I'm just going to swap the back.

Posted by: JWerner2

Which clip? Is it one of those plastic tabs that the bolt goes in to hold the headlight to the car?

Posted by: TDUB

yes one of the three on the back of the headlight that bolts to the car, the middle one broke

Posted by: JWerner2

Yup, I had that happen. I just used Gorilla Glue to put it back on.

+1 with that problem.

Posted by: TDUB

Yeah this seems to be a pretty common problem. And I thought I was the only dumbass who broke his headlight.

Man, I came to this forum thinking I have some of the stupidest problems with my car and I must look like a dumb ass. I didn't think I would be drawn in to this forum for the simple fact that we all have such stupid problems.

This whole deal with this car and answering questions for people is so predictable I think it begins to make people feel important.
