i leave the house today to go to the shop, but im gonna hit the atm first so i pull into regions bank and round the building where i see a plain white van in the atm lane, then i notice a guy has the machine opened up so i figure its a repair guy, so i go around the atm lane and come up on the side of the parking lot behind him , he turns to look at me over his shoulder and my windows are tinted so he obviously couldnt see me, meanwhile he has a special looking metal box in his hand and he is kneeled down on the ground, so i put my window down and the dude pulls a pistol on me, holy christ!!!!!! i'm like whoa buddy i just want to know when the machine will be up and running again, so as he sits with a death grip on the gun he shouts 20 minutes, i said ok thank you and drove away and as im driving away i hear him say the f- word lol. i guess it was stupid of me to have pulled up behind him but i didnt know what the hell i just wanted to use the damn atm. it didnt hit me till i got maybe a mile down the road, it finally hit man i just had a gun pulled on me lol, it was one for the books, thats a first for me, needless to say i went back about 2 hours later and got my money without any guns pointed at me!!!! hahaha geez.

When I was 17 I had a cop pull me over in my mustang for being suspicious and he came to my car with his gun drawn I didn’t even think about it until 5-10min down the road it was a weird feeling

lolololol, run up throwing your arms around screaming, boogida boogida boogida!!! hell maybe he will get so scared he will shoot himself then you can take the money

As I am Armed too, for work. That aint even anything near joking with. I dont handle money, but the guy holding the gun should be the one unloading in his shorts. You never know whats behinde that tint. Just glad you didnt get one through your door. Too many accidents happen that way. Of all the cases when someone can justify drawing thier weapon, only 35% of the shootings are justified. So thats 65% of ppl getting shot by accident for cases like what happend to you.

That only works in Boscobel. Chances are, you and the gun man would both get your toes shot off.

I don't know what the laws are down their, but up here you could of called the cops and sued his company's ass.

I dont know about sueing in a civil case but he could definatly had lost his job. Here in PA, a police officer can draw his weapon on probable cause but under the ACT235 laws, you draw, you shoot. If you draw and dont shoot, thats a can of worms that you dont want. May even take your 235 card.

Since when to ATM refillers or repair men carry guns?

Unless he was specifically licensed to carry that gun like armored car drivers are, he definentely could've gotten arrested.

I was 17, and just pulled into my driveway, when a cop screached to a halt, blocking the driveway, hops, out, gun drawn, and commands me to stop, and show him my hands. Well, my mothers groceries hit the ground, and I am standing there almost peeing my pants. He asks me how long I have owned the car, because thay just had a stolen car report with a description that matched my car.
Just then my dad walked out of the garage, and helped calm the guy down.
Totally scared me, got his blood pressure up, all over a dumb mistake.

Are You sure he works for the bank?
As I read this and it sound like you rolled up on a guy setting up to steel Bank account # and PINS . A brinks worker or bank atm tech isn't just going to pull a gun out on a guy going to the atm it doesn't sound right, did you go back and use the same bank?

I would let the bank know , if he does work for them that not right and they should know. You were not holding anything in you hand ?

Posted by: jamie97lsc

the bank was open while this happened he was 30 feet straight ahead from the teller window in the drive through, they could see him. i wasnt holding anything in my hand i was in my car, i never got out of it. i did go back, maybe 2 hours later roughly and used the same machine and got my money! i'm not sweatin what happened, maybe he could have got in trouble for what he did, but i know i scared him but pulling up behind him, but whatever he didnt shoot and i'm alive to tell the story !!

the guy that fills the atm at my shop carries... looks like a 9mm glock.. has it in a holster on his belt... and under his t-shirt.. concealed or not you can definitely see the bulge on his hip ..

they carry around $10k at a time i think.. he puts 2 - $3k in our atm alone...and if he has multiple atms to fill...that equals big bucks and trouble

id carry too if i were him

In NJ he needs a concealed carry permit to have it. He probably does have one since he's carrying the large amount of cash. My uncle had a restaurant in Camden and had a CCW since he made night deposits and Camden isn't exactly Pleasantville.

Nonetheless, permit or not pulling a gun on someone if you are not a cop or law enforcement officer is serious business.

Posted by: ground_zero298

My point exactly. No one besides law enforcement has a right to pull on you in public. And if he was that nervous your lucky he didn't put one in the side of your car.

Some of the companies that carry money like that have hand gun training that is similar to training that police go through. Also just because it didn't look like an armored truck doesn't mean it wasn't armored. Some of the Ford Econoline 350's cash carriers drive are armor plated from the inside and look stock.

I am glad he didnt shoot you hell were would we get our parts ?

We have an older man that does our pickups for the armored cars, guy carries a 6 shooter all chromed out. He's pulled it on the crackheads that live next to our store on numerous occasions. I'd have to say though, a tinted out mark is a very intimidating car Jamie that explains it by itself haha

Posted by: buddylee

How about the new kid who is not yet 21 so the let him carry a gun with no clip.
for Brinks .

Still sound to fishy .... maybe the repairman had been hanging out with Krystal
