Hi !! This is actually my second post. The first is the desperate one about my baby stranded @ the corner store. I am a former auto speed merchant, but now just like
my cars to be responsive & fairly quick. My speed habit is now readily handled by my Hayabusa ( hence my monicker ). I have a ,70 GTO convertable w/a 455cid, a '70 Catalina convert w/a 400cid that needs restoration, a '90 Astro van RS I really love but made me so mad @ GM I switched to Lincoln w/ the Mark viii. I also have a '93 Bonneville that continues GMs inability to produce an interior that matches the performance of it's drivetranes. No I'm not a dealer, but my wife thinks I want to be Jay Leno. Well who wouldn't !!!!!
The Mark viii really won me over w/ it's sweet suspension & it's awsome power. If I can't get it running I'll either have to sell it, or get one of you people to help me figure out how to get a V10 in her!!
I love your site. it has a real nice vibe.It also looks like you've had some bad luck yourselves in losing some obviously loved members. I am sry for your losses.
Hope you guys can get me up to speed w/ the MKviii. Reminds me of a sweet Cannon Ball car!! About the direction I'd like to go w/ her. Understated, but VERY capable! Thanks again for your time !! Tony M/ aka ks the Highabuser!!!
PS: I'm either going to get an '08 'busa to replace my
y2k, or will hang a bunch of cf & a turbo on it. Still can't decide!
