Who's going to Carlisle this year?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Anyone?

There's a bunch of us Mark VIII owners from all the other boards attending, but I haven't seen anyone mention it here yet.

It's only 40 bucks for a weekend, shared with Mark VIII owners from all over the country.

If you plan on attending, please pre register soon. They use these numbers to determine the number of classes (and awards) for the Mark VIII. The last 2 years, there was only enough pre registered for 2 classes, Gen 1 and Gen 2. The years before that, there were 4 classes, Stock and Modified Gen 1 and 2.

Please read up about it and pre register here:

Depends on Daddy duties, wife is on travel,. I can usually get to go up at least on Sat, only about 2-2 1/2 hrs away for me.

I need to get a gas tank for one of the '65s (%^&$&%$ Shell $%^$%&$ bad gas).

I'll be driving up from Nashville TN this year. I missed last years but I was there for '06, It kind of blew because I don't actually know anyone from LVC. I talked to Mr. Wilson & the guy with the Vortec kit with the Cobra wheels & Brakes( I can't remember his name) for a while but that was about it. I actually had more conversations with the LOD guys, of which i'm also a member, since '02. I hope to actually speak to more people this year & possibly hang out with more fellow Lincoln Hot Roddists during & after the events. So if you see me there, Say Hi, otherwise I'm driving 672 miles both ways to look at cars. Oh ,& to be in the burnout contest .
