Stalling and hard Steering

Hello i have a 2001 Cadillac Seville SLS that stalls at random when i am driving. Sometimes i have difficulty starting it aswell.

Another problem i am having is that the steering wheel will become stiff and turning becomes difficult. This also happens at random.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I should add that the stalling occurs when i start the car and put it into drive and give a little bit of acceleration the car will start to shake and then sometimes it just stalls out.
