Hey from Houston

Hey guys. I joined this site eons ago (okay, maybe about a year ago) and have been periodically lurking, but figured it was time to get with it. I am in awe of the knowledge base that can be found here. I'm in the Houston, TX area and I have a '98 Mark VIII which I got in 2002 with 31K miles on it. Love, love, love that car! But in Jan. 2007 I turned to the dark side and bought a black '06 LS V8 that only had 14K miles on it. The LS currently has 47K miles and the M8 has 119K. The hubby has been on me to get rid of the Mark, but I can't bring myself to do that. We had initially planned on letting my MIL drive it, but she didn't jump at the chance and now after a year has gone by, I just don't see anyone giving it the attention it deserves. Hence, my desire to keep it and start driving it periodically. I'm sure you guys know what I mean. (The "No Soup For You!" Syndrome.) Anyway, I know I'm going to have a few questions regarding the Mark and some of my options for getting it back up to snuff. Glad to be here!
