$5000. Buying a house and MUST sell. I wanted $12,000. for this car and it is NOT running. Car has been sitting for probably 2 + years and not running. It has a blown head gasket and will run but overheat. The car is covered with a layer of dirt and dust. The rims are layered in corrosion(not rust). The inside is mildewy from having sat for so long.
That's the car folks. It needs some TLC.
Now for those of you who know this car, and you've seen it win at Carlisle, the above will mean little.
$8000. Custom Chameleon Paint Job Standox Imola Ice Imported from Germany- Perfect Except for a small crack in the front bumper and a small scrape on the rear trunk...easily repaired.
Custom Painted Interior Panels to match the car
$5000. Custom 3 Piece Arelli Vetta Rims(and yes the corrosion can be polished off)
PRICELESS and comes with the car for the price $$$????? Original 96 Mark VIII Teksid Motor...original Factory motor with original Ford Tape on the IMRCs...not a crate engine...this engine is sitting waiting to go into the car!!!
For those of you who need a quick education in engines....the engine alone is worth the $5000.
Oh and by the way...the interior is perfect...a shampoo...a day in the sun and it should be perfect.
Look there is a huge list of $$$ upgrades to the car, including plenty of pictures that I will post later tonight. A good friend of mine, may he rest in peace, posted a nice little write up for me about the car, and as soon as I find the link I will post that too.
Basically folks $5000. is a come bring your flat bed, cherry picker, and come remove the car and engine from my garage and drive away. I will do NOTHING to get the vehicle to you. Once again this is $5000. and this is a come pick it up tomorrow price.

If I had room to store it I would still grab it now.
