I got the opportunity to buy a 94 Cadillac Eldorado 2 dr with 130000. For once I really believe the private owner when he said my wife owned it. She recently bought a 500 s Mercedes. Anyway here is my question, what type of problems will be coming up with that many miles? Also never owned a Cadillac with northstar any help would be appreciated. Jason

These engins last forever as long as you keep the oil changed at proper intervals. My Mom has one with 256,000 and it doesn't burn a drop of oil. If you find it has no oil leaks try using Mobil 1 full synthetic. Don't use it if it has any leaks because it will only make it worse. Finally on your first oil change do a "Slick 50" treatment on it. Good luck and enjoy your car. ps. You may want to change all hoses etc. All things have life spans and at 160000 many of the hoses and belts probably need changing. Later.
