how much does a new block and head cost for the ls v8 2000?
where could i get one?

Are you set on going 'new'? I saw your other thread, and it doesn't seem like you want to spend a lot on the car. You may be better off going through a salvage yard. www.car-part.com and www.lkq.com are two sites I would recommend trying first. Otherwise, you can always call Ford, but good luck with that bill! Oh, and there are two heads on the V8.

FWIW, I bought a rebuildable four Litre Jaguar (almost a twin of the 3.9) for $750.00. The easily removable exterior parts were gone, but really everything necessary is there. Between the car's engine and the one I bought, I'll only need things such as a gasket set. And, of course, the new pistons and rods and valves, etc..
