Maybe next year they'll let North Carollina play ALL their playoff games in-state so that they won't have as much of a chance of losing.

ROCK CHALK!!!

Ok here are some pics from the insanity that was Mass. St. In Lawrence, Kansas last night. It was a once in a lifetime experience!!! Needless to say, classes at KU were canceled today.
GO KU!!!

One heckuva ending. Great game. I'm also glad KU won.

Yeah, that was a helluva game!! I have a friend who lives about two blocks behind Mass St. (which is the main street in downtown Lawrence; all the bars are within a 4 block stretch along Mass St. and that is where all that insanity insued) and we watched the game at his place (HD 50" widescreen TV). Right after the game we walked up to Mass St. to get in on all that insanity.

that's...not very hardcore.
...kinda weak, actually.

Then again, you didn't have a hangover the next day!

Good for you Shag. I admit I never noticed you live in Kansas. I remember how I felt in 1996 and 1998 when Kentucky won it all. You must be on top of the world.

I have never been too much of a sports fan. But I lived in Lawrence for a while (even took a few classes at KU), and have started following KU basketball the past few year. My family (and a number of my close friends) are rabid KU fans, so I am kinda required to be one, I guess.

I went out today and bought one of those official championship shirts (had to wait in line). Topeka, Lawrence and KC are all still riding a buzz from the win (not to mention beating Roy on Saturday).

It is really exciting around here right now!
