Thank you for keeping all this information going. It is so extensive it seems hard for me to locate an answer to my question. Keep up the good work. I just bought a 2000 LS v6 for my daughter. It had a bad motor. I have changed to motor (big deal) and now I have more questions than answers.

My questions are about the operation of the hyd. fan. The car doesn't overheat but the fan doesn't turn/move air very fast. No difference when the AC is on or off. Does this indicate a bad pump?

I really need an answer for this, before I go back in there and change the pump without any idea if it will fix my prob.

I would post this in the Lincoln LS forum. You'll get more help there.

Oh, and welcome to LVC
