2000 TC passenger steering knuckle linkages

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

We (including adavnce auto mgr) cannot figure out what the linkage to the knuckle is.We have the tie-rod links but my TC looks like there is a shredded rubber bushing that is connected to a bolt on the knuckle about 1 inch from the top brake caliper bolt. What is this?
Also my real problem is this wheel apparently cannot be properly aligned. (So I was told by the mechanic that aligned it. Either the Camber or the Caster cannot be adjusted.
What is happening is the car vibrates so much that the passenger seat wabbles constantly. Also, the passenger side front wheel has been reformed to look like someone that has been beaten over the head and has numerous bumps and welts on the surface. Bothe the inside and the outside of the tire are grossly worn. Inside down to steel. HELP PLEASE! There has to be a way to correct this problem. I do already have a replacement knuckle but I am not sure if this will help at all.

Take a pic of the joint
also sounds like you need new wheels and tires

-'02 panthers use an upper and lower control arm with balljoints. The '95-'02 steering knuckle has a swaybar endlink on the back side which has two ball joint ends (one w/ a 90 degree angle)
There is one tie rod on each side.

It sounds like you are referring to the upper ball joint, or the swaybar endlink.

Start simple. If you know your tire is messed up replace it.

Why can't he align it? You need to correct the bad joint issue first, though.
