How do I know if my '00 LS has keyless entry? Did it come standard on all models?
I recently bought the car and it only came with 2 keys, if I just buy the key fob remote can I program it myself to work?
Thanks fellas!

Not quite sure, but i think you have to take it somwhere to get it programmed, its all by computer.

Yes all year Lincoln LS came with remote fobs. Pre 03 you have to take the LS and fob to a dealer for programming, 2nd gen you can program yourself.

For your year LS, you need to take it to the dealer for key or key fob programming. When I got my LS, it only came with 1 key and Fob. You can program up to a max of 4 keys and fobs. I bought the PATS keys and fobs on that famous auction site which was much cheaper than the dealer. I used my local Ford dealer who has the necessary equipment to do the job. They charged me $45.00 for the programming. Just make sure you bring in all the keys and fobs that you'll using for the car. Don't leave any at home, otherwise after the programming is done the ones at home will be useless. All the keys and fobs have to be done at the same time.

Yes, just make sure it is the right key or remote for your generation of LS.
