As most of you allready know that 1wykdmk8 has passed away. Ray was my older brother and will be greatly missed. My parents have given me his car (THE BARNEY MOBILE) to try and finish it up the way he wanted. It might not be done the way he wanted it but im going to do my best to get it there. I had just joined the site last nite but ive been on here a few times just to try and read some of the stuff you guys all talk about. Well thats about all i have fornow. Thanks, Jason

Welcome Jason. Sorry for your tremendous loss.

Let us know if you need any help.

Cars like that stay in the family, I know from experience.

When my Grand-father passed away, he left me his 1949 Ford Club Coupe.
It will never leave my sight.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Jason

Welcome to the forum, glad to hear that barney is living on. From talking to your father I hear you have some nice things in store for it. Let us know if we can help.

Welcome.... Glad to see your keeping the car.

Posted by: rays brother

96hotrodlincoln it might take me a few years to do things to the car but im going to have the exhaust fully done by carlisle. Barneys in the shop right now getting mechanical work done. Maybe when it gets out of there hell get body work and a new paint job. As for now my family and I had all agreed on just keeping it the same color for now. Thats all the plans I have for right now with what money I have to play with. That car is never going to leave this family for ANY reason. I have a garage for it in my back yard and thats where it'll stay. If something happens to it itll stay there out of the weather until I can get it fixed.
