eBay Acution

So Is this a great deal?

What do you think?

Posted by: JoeyLincolnMK8

Not worth fixing. It would cost more to repair it, than to buy it.

Posted by: chickenviii

repair it? hell just part it and put it out of its misery, 4k wtf? does it actually list the millage (i aint reading all that long winded crap)

Posted by: JoeyLincolnMK8

Yeah, was not thinking about parting it out. I guess that is another option!

From the historical point of view, if your going to own a Mark for the long haul, (20 yrs or longer) then this is the one to buy, and fix up. I would be concerned about the frame, the body parts are pretty easy to replace. Anyone know how much a Collectors Edition is worth if its all there?

Posted by: pektel

That'll buff right out...

Posted by: k9t8m

Not even close to being worth it. There was one for sale about a year ago out east with very light front end damage (air bags didnt even deploy) and he had a heck of a time getting the $1800 out of it that he wanted. Save your money, and keep looking.

Straighten out the muffler and some larger pieces tape around the trunk...It should be OK!!

For that much I think it would be a steel

Looks like junk to me.

The guy that I bought my Mark VIII from also had a 1998 LSC CE which he still has, anyways it was in perfect condition with around 70,000 miles on it. He bought it from a BMW dealership for $7,000. This was 2 1/2 years ago! No way in hell that thing in the auction is worth 4k.

Posted by: slickemhoundd

I STILL SAY LETS ALL DRIVE OFF A CLIFF INTO A RIVER AND SELL THEM FOR FOUR GRAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! Only if it was that easy.

Posted by: k9t8m

Ill give him $4000 for his other one. lol.

Posted by: k9t8m

He must have caught wind of this conversation, because the price is now $3000. What a deal.
