I'm not a hater... I'm just being honest... Want me to be a hater?
Okay... On top of the batteries not matching, the hold downs are very utilitarian, not show at all; looks like some crap I threw together in my garage just to get my by till I had time to make something nice. He didn't mention anything about an upgraded alternator... so the question is, will you be swapping out alternators every oil change? I do see a quality die-hard battery under the hood (serious here... they rate better than optima), but he says low miles and it's got 85k on the clock; that might be lower than average miles for the year, but it's not LOW MILES. Looks like he used welder cable for his wire in the back on the pumps; this certainly is not show quality... hell, it's cheap quality. He's got junk preamp feeds; they should be twisted pairs, but instead they look like some crap that he picked up in an "amp install kit" from walmart. His subs are essentially mounted free-air; yes he's got decent quality, but due to their mounting, they aren't going to perform anywhere near as well as they could in a custom built box. Not to mention, they aren't even centered the way they are mounted. Instead of going with a double din in-dash LCD, he half-a$$ed it with a single din and a generic mounting kit which has a distinctive bow to it. His switches are HUGE and tacky, and are impossible to put away. All told... it's not impressive; it looks like some crap someone just threw together. The only shows this car would win are weekend gatherings at the local ghetto quicki-mart. These cars with hydraulics are not my style, but I can appreciate quality workmanship... unfortunately, this isn't quality workmanship. |

Okay... how about this...
A for effort... D- for execution. The sad thing is, didn't he list the stereo and hydraulics as being a professional install? I could easily do a better stereo job than that, and although I know virtually nothing about hydraulics... I think I could have done a more visually appealing install. (maybe I'm thinking of a different ad) I'm not a fan of big tacky things sitting out. Aren't those switch boxes electric controlling hydraulic valves? If that's the case, there is NO reason for a switch box to be that large; I could put it into a box about half the size. There's nothing appealing about a huge box with switches that looks like it was thrown together by a 5th grade science class. I'm just saying that almost everything I see could have been done with better style and class... that would enhance the vehicle instead of detract from it. (fiberglass switch box, smoothed out and painted to match the exterior with momentary micro switches is just one example). But I said it once... I'll say it again... I love that back-lighted mirror; if there is one thing about this car non-factory that was done well, it's that mirror! Otherwise, the car itself appears to be mint. But those pictures aren't all that clear either. |

Well to tell you the truth...a 10 switch box is as big as it is for a reason...when you have 10 switchs that function as to in one and up and down switch...thats 20 wires you need to cramb into the box...when your using 10 or 20 gauge wire a peice how are you going to cut that box to half the size...theres a reason they sell it the size they do...and a reason why they sell 8 switch boxes smaller or 6 even smaller a 10 switch box is made that size for a reason...

...some people like the classic look not everyone wants new tech...10 or 20 gauge my bad went 10 or 12 im not to sure whats in my box...and if you really wanted to hide it when the popo shows up get the chick to throw her purse over it ha worked many times...but what not theres not use trying to make you see the creativeness of the car if your going to sit there and pick it apart...some people got different tastes...
hence why i don't need the questions along with the turn your wheel all the way to the left and then to the right to check for rubbing...i don't need that bull$hit...
