Hi all, my 2000 Navi has the A/C and Heated seats but it seems as if the seats do not heat up as much as they should. My friends have other vehicles with heated seats(typical hi/lo only) but their "hi" will burn you up in no time. i can put my heat on "5" and it is only warm, not the hot that i experience in my friend's vehicles. I blew the filters out with an air hose but didn't really help. any ideas? thanks

clogged ducting?

Are the little fans (that draw in air into the seat) spinning?

yes, my fans are spinning. they just don't seem to heat up nearly as hot as other vehicles. i can literally leave mine on "5" driving in for 30 minutes and just feel comfortable. my friends vehicle on "hi" will burn you up after 10 minutes.

So if I understand, you want your a$$ cooked crips. You don't want to be comfortable. Maybe the passage ways in the seat cushions are blocked.
Maybe it's the peltier cooler/heater. This is the device that creates the cool or hot air. Maybe yours is just weak from the years. You could take of the rear cover of the seat and see the duct-work and peltier device. Then you can unhook the duct-work add feel with your hands how much heat or cold is actually comming out of the peltier.
