Max, lumbar support question.

Max, the drivers side lumbar support sheet on my 95 Mustang Cobra is trashed. Does Ford still make this? It is basically what the inflator bag sits against. If so, how much? Thanks

Andrew

Hi Andrew

Do you see the part in this pic????

Posted by: Psychostang

Unfortunately I don't Max. If you look at part #61018, it basically attatches to the lower half of that frame hole. Then the bag sits in between it and the seat foam/leather cover. When you inflate the bag, it pushes up against this support sheet and then protrudes out the front.

Hi
That would be a part of the complete seat back cover and they are no longer available...sorry. I did try the colors on the locator.

Max. This is not part of the seat back cover. It attaches to the frame. In order to get to it, you have to remove item 610C06, 611A08, and 60136 (pad & cover). Then you will see the support attached to the frame. It is held in by 2 metal rods, which are secured by 4 tabs (part of the frame). 2 on each side.

Andrew

I am still working on this....some say that the bag has the rods to attach it to the frame and some say that shield is with the frame so ????? Ill keep checking for you. This pic is from the test system pages....all are generalized line art so they are really not accurate.

The answers I recd did not help so I ordered one and will advise when it is here in the next day or so.

ok it is here.....
The bag AKA adjuster is attached to the "sheet" that has a rod at either end that attaches to the frame. It is part number YR3Z-6365500-AA and has a list of $34.27 and will cost you $25.70 plus ups.
